Mumbai Rains: Heavy Rainfall Causes Waterlogging, Traffic Disruption
Mumbai received heavy rainfall on Wednesday, July 20, 2023, causing waterlogging and traffic disruption in several parts of the city. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for Mumbai and its suburbs, predicting heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places.

The BMC has deployed its disaster management team to clear the waterlogging and traffic disruption. The team is also working to assess the damage caused by the heavy rains.
